This top Intellectual Property and Technology group are seeking a mid-level solicitor to join their team. The team works with major Australian corporates in all aspects of their procurement and provides specialist input to the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. The role mainly deals with IT and technology contracting and may also involve general commercial contracting and other large project procurement. The position is suitable for lawyers with intellectual property experience (especially patents) or those with a general commercial background who have an interest in technology and want to move into this growing field. You will need to have excellent research, analytical and communication skills, strong relationship management skills and a commitment to client service. You will also need first class experience in document drafting and contracts and you should be keen to become involved in business development activities for the group.
